No long drawn out, flowery recitation and explanations of forgive me this and forgive me for t...hat before I am forgiven....Just a simple, " Lord remember me". God knew His heart. ~ Recently I was told that you should not be forgiven for a simple I'm sorry. Well I am so glad that my Jesus knows my heart and that if an apology is not accepted when it is given with a pure and contrite heart, that it says so much more about the receiver that debunks another's heart than the giver with pure intentions. ~ I learned to forgive even before the words are spoken, with the heart of Jesus you should be able to always say, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do!" Hold no offense against them and keep my heart right with you.
